REAL WILMINGTON WEDDING: ASHLEY + JASON BY WILL PAGE PHOTOGRAPHY

We have an amazing real wedding to show you today from Will Page Photography! We love Ashley + Jason’s story and love the mix of styles they incorporated into their wedding. Bride, Ashley, writes:

“Jason and I met back in 2007 when we were out with different groups of mutual friends. Our paths crossed, and me being the outspoken one let him know that I was interested and he should be too. After we started spending time together, it became harder to spend time apart. I had been living in Raleigh and decided that it was time to move back to Wilmington.
Fast forward to April 29, 2019 when we went to dinner with my family in Shallotte. On the way to dinner I was being chatty (as usual) and remember Jason being so quite…I even asked if I was being a little much and getting on his nerves, of course he chuckled and said no. After dinner we all walked down to the water to take some pictures with the sunset, and when we were getting all posed up I turned around to find Jason on one knee. I immediately turn to look and see where my daddy was and realized this was really happening (after 9 years of waiting I had to make sure this was for real) and started shaking with excitement. It was one of the happiest moments for both of us…..we finally made it!!!!

We knew we wanted to get married on Lake Waccamaw at sunset with a very relaxed boho chic feel. We didn’t want anything to be matchy and with all neutral, blush and pale greens details. Flowers, twinkling lights and mismatch dinnerware were a must, and Kelly with Provision Design Methods did not disappoint. She did an amazing job at making every vision and crazy idea I had and made it happen!!! We could not have asked for a better day. The food was amazing…and the cake OMG!!!! Imaginary Cakes did an awesome job!!!! Everything was beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned. We wanted our friends and family to come and have a good time, great food, cold drinks and even better company….and all were accomplished and surpassed our expectations.”
